Sign Language Interpreter
Position Description
PMIWDC is looking for volunteers qualified to act as interpreters for American Sign Language during the educational components our events.
From time to time members request ASL interpreters so that they can participate in our educational programs. PMIWDC is happy to provide these services at it's own expense, so that our events can be accessible to all project managers.
As almost all PMIWDC programs are free or heavily subsidized, this service sometimes creates a significant burden.
Any qualified volunteers who willing to provide occasional ASL interpretation would allow us to expand this service.
Requested Qualifications
Fluency in ASL
Past experience in, or formal qualifications for, ASL interpretation.
